This investigative podcast tells the story of Adam DeRito. Adam is a member of the class of 2010, and worked as an undercover informant for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. When Adam reported these predators, many of them were intercollegiate athletes. A majority of them played for the Air Force Academy football team. The Superintendent at the time, Lt Gen Michael C. Gould, ensured that most of these criminal investigations were dismissed. As a result, those that reported sexual assault had their promising careers and livelihoods taken from them. When asked about the perpetual reoccurrences of rape and sexual assault over several decades, the Air Force Academy remains silent. The officers that tolerate this behavior lead our military today. The very military that has been mired in the Global War on Terror for nearly twenty years. Enough is enough. We the people of the United States must hold our military to a higher standard when it comes to taking care of our nation's
