Chad and Ryan interview licensed therapist, first responder relationship expert and police wife Cyndi Doyle.   ABOUT YOUR GUEST:  Cyndi Doyle is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Texas and a Nationally Board-Certified Counselor (NCC). Cyndi embodies the motto Show Up, Be Seen, Live Brave™ by continually stepping outside her zone of comfort. Cyndi has become a recognized speaker, podcaster, author, and recognized internationally as an expert in her niche.  Cyndi is known for her educational and entertaining presentation style to both first responders and mental health professionals.  She has spoken at a wide variety of local and statewide conferences as well as the national stage at the Foundations of Connection Summit, International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), and the FBI National Training Academy Association Conference (FBINTAA).  She is asked to consult with professional associations in her niche of law enforcement mental and relational health.  In 2021, Cyndi released her book, Hold the Line: The Essential Guide to Protecting Your Law Enforcement Relationship which has been recognized by experts in the field as essential reading. In 2020, the American Counseling Association awarded Cyndi the Samuel T Gladding Unsung Heroes Award for her work with first responders and in the counseling field and Texas Counseling Association awarded her the Presidential Award for her continual work and support in the counseling field. As a Law Enforcement Wife, Cyndi founded Code4Couples, a practice aimed at helping first responder couples. She has a passion for helping to Law Enforcement Couples with her personal experience of being married to a Law Enforcement Officer and her professional expertise as a psychotherapist in private practice that works to with individuals and couple to create authentic and intimate lives. Her additional training includes Certification in Critical Incident Stress Management and serving on a CISM team in the DFW area.  She was selected by the Office of the Governor to be one of 3 mental health professionals to serve on a statewide work group focusing on Mental Health Access for First Responders in response to Texas HB 1794.
